Luboš Chládek has become CEO of the shared IT service center for the EMEA region at BNP Paribas Cardif

Luboš Chládek joined BNP Paribas Cardif in the position of CEO of the shared IT service center for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is responsible for the operation of IT services throughout the EMEA region, digitization and automation of the largest European bancassurance group, especially its insurance part.

"I am pleased with the high level of technological knowledge of the local and regional business management. It is essential for the successful implementation of projects and activities aimed at the digitalization of the company and the improvement of customer satisfaction. To put it simply, it's about a greater connection between IT and business," says Luboš Chládek.

"IT services for the entire EMEA region are supplied and operated from Prague; the regional IT shared service center with a huge reach is located here. It is a great responsibility and at the same time an immense opportunity for many IT experts. Luboš Chládek has amassed a wealth of experience in the IT sector. He started his professional career at Hewlett-Packard, where he worked in various IT positions for thirteen years. Then he led a team operating IT infrastructure solutions in the field of servers & storages at the global SSC DHL Information Services in Prague. He also worked as head of infrastructure & operations and later as CTO for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at ČSOB (KBC Global Services). As a member of the board of directors of ČEZ ICT Services, a.s., he was also responsible for the management of the infrastructure and operations department, the area of enterprise architecture and subsequently the core IT systems department.
